Jaitley to be observer

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley has been designated as the central observer to attend the legislature party meeting in Gujarat to complete  the chief ministerial formalities of Narendra Modi following his third consecutive victory in the Assembly polls.

The BJP parliamentary board, which discussed the Assembly election results in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, has also decided to send party general secretary Thawar Chand Gehlot as the central observer to Himachal Pradesh.  The meeting hailed the performance of the BJP in Saurashtra, south and central Gujarat, the urban constituencies and tribal areas
