Dikshit bats for a safer Delhi, writes to Shinde

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday said that she wanted the capital to be a safe city for people to live.

“I just want to say that Delhi should be safe for all. Delhi is a very big city and I think that there should be an improvement in the training of police. The instrumentation required for immediate action should be there and society should also cooperate,” she said.  The Delhi Chef Minister wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde seeking probe into the alleged interference of Delhi police while the victim’s statement was being recorded by the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM).  Delhi Chief Secretary
