LUCKNOW: The beleaguered Bharatiya Janata Party has landed itself in yet another trouble when three secretaries of the UP BJP resigned from their posts in protest against the elevation of Pankaj Singh to the post of general secretary of the party in the state.

Pankaj is the son of Rajnath Singh, former national president of the BJP.

This is the second time when the party is facing rebellion on Pankaj’s elevation.

Two years back when he was named the chief of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the party leaders had protested and the party leadership had to revoke its decision.

Similarly, the three secretaries of the BJP - Daya Shankar Singh, Santosh Singh and Ashwani Tyagi - faxed their resignation letters to party’s national president Nitin Gadkari protesting against their neglect and elevation of a junior worker.
