The CBI on Wednesday filed a chargesheet against former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda in a disproportionate assets case. Koda allegedly amassed assets worth Rs 8.42 crore, during his tenure as the Chief Minister between 2006 and 2008.
“The CBI has filed a chargesheet against ex-CM of Jharkhand in the Court of Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi, for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income,” a CBI spokesperson said.
