Godman’s nephew held

Delhi police have detained a relative of Swami Pratimanand, a suspect in the murder of BSP leader and business tycoon Deepak Bhardwaj, from Beed district in Maharashtra. Machindra Chormale, 25, was picked up from Tintarwali in Shirur taluka.

According to police, Chormale was in touch with Pratimanand in Delhi till three months ago. The police were hoping that the godman,  who is on the run after the murder, would surface in the village.
