BJP gets ready for stormy Budget session

The BJP will raise issues like the VVIP chopper deal and Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s remarks on “Hindu terror”, among others, in the coming Budget session of Parliament, beginning on Thursday.

This was decided by the BJP core group that met here on Monday.

The party will also hold a protest march on Wednesday here on Shinde’s remarks against the RSS and the BJP on the terror issue.

The BJP has already announced that it will gherao PM’s residence on the issue.The meeting that lasted for 90 minutes, was attended among others by BJP Parliamentary Party chairman L K Advani, Leaders of Opposition in both the Houses, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, M M Joshi, M Venkaiah Naidu and Ram Lal, besides Rajnath. Former party president Nitin Gadkari and party general secretary Ananth Kumar, did not attend the meeting.
