At least ten persons were injured, four of them seriously, in an explosion inside a State Transport bus at Nalegav village in Latur district this evening.

Preliminary information suggested that it was a case of the engine exploding because it overheated, a senior police official told PTI here.

The explosion took place at about 7.30 PM when the Latur-Udgir bus was standing at the bus-stand in the village, police said.

The injured were being shifted to the civil hospital here.
