Haryana: Four charred to death in car accident

Four people, including a woman, were charred to death when their car caught fire following an accident near this Haryana town, police said Thursday.

Four people, including a woman, were charred to death when their car caught fire following an accident near this Haryana town, police said Thursday.

The victims belonged to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The Wagon-R car, which was being run on gas, caught fire suddenly after the vehicle hit a tree on the Ambala-Saharanpur road late Wednesday night, police said.

They included three members of one family (father, mother and son) and a friend of the son. The victims were returning late after attending a wedding in Panchkula, 15 km from here.
