Police Complaint against Sadhvi

NEW DELHI: A complaint has been filed with the city police against Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti over her offensive remarks at a BJP public meeting here. However, police said no FIR has been registered as yet. Advocate Rajeev Kumar Bhola, who practises in the lower courts, filed the complaint with Tilak Nagar police station on Wednesday. Rajeev has sought a case under Sections 153-B (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national-integration), 153-C (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 500 (defamation) of the IPC.
