Talks with UK Minister on Tuesday

NEW DELHI: The Iraq crisis, bilateral trade, and nuclear talks with Iran will be on the table when British Foreign Minister William Hague meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday.

“There will be discussion on issues of an international nature when the two Foreign Ministers meet...If you are interested in that, there certainly will be discussions on Iraq as well as on the discussions between P5+1 and Iran,” said  MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin.

“India and the UK have a trade relationship which is approximately worth $15.8 billion. The trade is in favour of India. It is approximately worth $9.8 bn for Indian exports, the rest being the UK’s exports to India. There will be a discussion on that,” he said.
