Radadiya's victory in the election for the Director position at IFFCO was bolstered by the backing of influential figures such as Dilip Sanghani, who is not only the former MP and MLA but also holds a prominent role as the IFFCO Chief. Additionally, Radadiya garnered support from the farming community in Saurashtra, a significant agricultural region in Gujarat.

Radadiya garnered 113 votes in the election, a significant number compared to Gota's 64 votes. Gota, recognized for his association as an aide to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, faced a substantial defeat in the election.

In the aftermath of this unexpected outcome, BJP state president CR Patil expressed concerns over the prevalent practice of compromising with other party leaders, known as "Ilu-Ilu". In response, IFFCO chairman and senior BJP figure Dilip Sanghani questioned the integrity of such criticism, citing instances of the party rapidly embracing Congress leaders and awarding them tickets.

Following the victory, BJP state president CR. Patil remarked to the media, "Most elections were won in accordance with the BJP mandate. Some individuals engaged in 'Ilu-Ilu' under the guise of cooperative elections, prompting the BJP to adopt the Mandate process to address alliances with other parties that were detrimental to our interests."

In response to Patil's statement, IFFCO chairman Dilip Sanghani indirectly criticized him, stating, "Cooperative leaders have secured victory through

democratic means. I would like to question those who perceive this result as 'Ilu-Ilu'. When individuals switch from Congress to our party within a day and receive tickets, it disheartens the workers. Whether it's termed 'Ilu-Ilu' or if BJP wins, it's seen as the same."

Concerning the party's endorsement of Bipin Patel, Sanghani said, "Three days after Jayesh Bhai submitted his form, Bipin Patel received the mandate.

Jayesh Bhai isn't even aware of who got the mandate. Before conferring a mandate on anyone, one should consult Jayesh bhai. This seems like an attempt solely to discredit Jayesh bhai in the media."

Narayan Kachdia, the three-time MP from Amerli, challenged party leaders backing Sanghani's assertion, asserting, "It requires a decade to nurture workers. Individuals from Congress and AAP swiftly secure positions after joining in the morning. While it's fine to bring workers from other parties, it shouldn't be done at the cost of neglecting BJP workers."

Expressing his concerns about candidate selection, Kachdia remarked, "Through their candidate choices, they've let down over 17 lakh voters. Amreli had numerous qualified candidates, yet tickets were distributed to those merely capable of Speaking Gujarati."
