BALLIA: A 30-year-old woman was killed for allegedly opposing her husband's illicit relationship with his sister-in-law in Uskar Gaziapur village here, police said.
The incident took place yesterday under Bhimpura police station area, ASP K C Goswami said, adding, the woman was set ablaze by her husband, his three brothers, and the sister-in-law.
The five were performing her last rites in the village when a police team reached the spot on information and took the body into its custody, Goswami said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
On the complaint of deceased's brother, an FIR against the five has been lodged.
