INDORE: An inter-state narcotic drug smuggler was arrested with 'brown sugar' worth Rs 4 lakh near Gautampura locality on Monday, a police official said.
Based on a tip-off, the police nabbed Rajesh Kumavat (32) and recovered 40 grams of brown sugar from his possession at Gautampura locality, some 60 km from Indore, Inspector Hakamsingh Pawar said.
He said that the contraband fetches Rs 4 lakh in the international market, adding that Kumavat used to bring brown sugar from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh.Further investigations are on, he said.
