NEW DELHI: Sixteen cases of transgression into the Indian airspace have been recorded this year from China and Pakistan, the highest since 2012, Lok Sabha was informed on Friday.

Last year, 12 cases of transgression of the Indian airspace were registered while six took place in 2012, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said.
