JAIPUR: An eight-month-old girl was allegedly abducted while she was sleeping beside her mother outside Durgapura Railway station here, police said today.
The toddler, Kajal, was abducted by an unknown person on the intervening night of June 7-8, the police said.
Her mother, Santosh Devi, who works as a rag-picker near the railway station, woke up yesterday and found her daughter missing, police said.
A case has been registered at the Shiprapath police station in connection with the matter.
