A 55-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a stray bullet allegedly during celebratory firing at a marriage function in Gunnaur area, police said here today.
The incident occurred last evening when the victim Kalyan Singh was hit by a stray bullet fired by revellers during the function in Daulatpur village of the district, they said.
Two persons, Jalim Singh and Kalicharan, have been arrested in this connection under section 304 of the IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), police said.
