NEW DELHI: A 50-year-old man was killed and his wife critically injured after the two-wheeler they were riding was knocked down by a car being driven by a Delhi Police constable Thursday night, police said.
Qamaruddin and his wife, Amina Begum, 48, were going towards Rajghat when the incident occurred in Geeta Colony area of east Delhi at around 8 pm.
The constable, identified as Suresh and posted in the I.P. Estate police station in central Delhi, has been arrested.
