NEW DELHI: Even as the BJP-led NDA is going full throttle in its efforts to finalise the Narendra Modi Cabinet, supporters of former Army chief turned Ghaziabad MP V K Singh have started a campaign to hand over the Defence portfolio to him. In a bid to drum up support online, the retired General’s supporters have even launched a ‘Singh for Defence Minister’ page on Facebook.
The page has already registered over 37,000’likes’, within four days of its launch. It came up on Saturday, a day after the poll results were announced, when it became clear that a Modi-led BJP Government would come to power.
