SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said he has not received invitation for the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi on Monday.

"Let me say this here rather than individually to those asking - no, I haven't received THE invitation," he wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Omar, who exchanged bitter words with Modi during the campaign for Lok Sabha polls, said he cannot consider an invitation that has not been extended to him.

"Can't consider what hasn't arrived," he added.
