Two Sent to 14-days Judicial Custody in SHO Murder Case

A local court sent two accused, allegedly involved in the murder of Phugana police station SHO Vijay Singh, to 14-days in judicial custody, police said Monday.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A local court sent two accused, allegedly involved in the murder of Phugana police station SHO Vijay Singh, to 14-days in judicial custody, police said Monday.

The accused Jyoti Mishra and her brother Pershant Mishra were yesterday arrested and produced before the court, which sent them to 14-days in judicial custody, they said.

A case was registered on the complaint of Singh's wife Prabha Rani who had alleged that her husband was poisoned to death by the brother-sister duo of Gorakhpur. She claimed that the accused had borrowed some money from her husband and refused to pay back.
