Fire at Railway Colony Building in Delhi

NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at an office building situated in Railway Colony near Connaught Place in the heart of the national capital here this evening.

According to a fire department official, they got a call  about a fire at 6:50 PM after which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

"The fire is under control and it will be completely extinguished soon," the official said.

The Railway Colony is located near Shankar Market area in Connaught Place.

The fire was reported from a multi-storyed building.

No casualty has been reported so far, police said, adding the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
