NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday urged people, especially youngsters, to ensure record voting in Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly polls.

"Urging the people of Haryana and Maharashtra to go out and cast their votes. Youngsters must show the way and ensure record turnout," PM tweeted.

Modi campaigned extensively for his party in the polls and held a record number of rallies any Prime Minister had addressed for any state election.

Over 25 per cent of the 1.63 crore eligible voters had exercised their franchise in Haryana till 11 AM today as polling was on at a brisk pace in the multi-cornered contest. Read More
