HYDERABAD: Hailing BJP's assembly election victories in Maharashtra and Haryana, Telangana BJP leaders today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and party units in both the states.
BJP's victories in Maharashtra and Haryana put an end to corrupt and inefficient Congress rule in both the states, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy told reporters here.
BJP national vice president and MP Bandaru Dattatreya said people supported the transparent, "corruption-free" and development-oriented rule of Prime Minister Modi.
BJP leaders and workers celebrated the party's victory by lighting firecrackers and distributing sweets.
