Last Call For Kashmir Relief

When devastating floods ruined much of Kashmir, readers of The New Indian Express Group were among the first to respond to the victims' appeal for help. Contributions to the Relief Fund organised by this Group were steady and generous. The Fund will close tomorrow, October 31. Those who have not yet sent in their share may do so conveniently by cheque or cash or online:

• Cheques drawn in the name of The New Indian Express Kashmir Relief Fund may be handed over to any office of the NIE Group in any city.

• Cash may be given to any NIE office and a receipt obtained on the spot.

• Online remittances may be sent directly to Indian Bank, Padi Branch, Chennai 600 050, Current Account No. 6260119197, in the name of The New Indian Express Kashmir Relief Fund, SWIFT-Code:IDIBINBBPAD/IFSC Code: IDIB000P001. The details of the contributions made may be sent to kashmirrelieffund@newindianexpress.com.

Contributions will be received in the offices of The New Indian Express in any city till 5 p.m on Friday, October 31. The final list of contributions will be published in these columns on Sunday, November 9. The Fund will eventually be handed over to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for use in Jammu & Kashmir.
