AMRITSAR: Nine people were killed and 12 others injured in Punjab's Amritsar district after a mini-bus rammed into the vehicle in which they were travelling, police said.

The incident took place on Wednesday night on Amritsar-Chowk Mehta road, around 250 km from Chandigarh. The victims include five women and a girl, police said.
