MUMBAI: The Shirdi temple trust decided to keep the famous shrine open for two extra hours from Saturday to accommodate as much as devotees it can. It has also changed the timing of the arti from 4:30 am to 3:30 am.
The temple trust has maintained that the change in the temple timing has been done in view of the Kumbh Mela going on in nearby Nashik. However, the move has irked the local devotees of Sai Baba.
“Lakhs of devotees from every part of the country are expected to be in Nashik for Kumbh Mela every day. Naturally, if a devotee arrives in Nashik, he/she does not miss an opportunity to visit the Sai Baba temple.
