Congress President Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack against External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and said that the former was ""indulging in theatrical politics."

Sonia was referring to Swaraj's statement in Rajya Sabha yesterday, where she defends helping Lalit Modi's ailing wife and asks what Sonia would have done had she been in her place. Swaraj gave the statement in a bid to end the Parliament logjam, that has stalled work in both the Houses.

"She (Sushma Swaraj) is an expert at indulging in theatrical politics," said Sonia Gandhi before she joined her party colleagues protesting the suspension of 25 Congress MPs by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. Unmoved by the Swaraj's statement, Sonia led the Congress protests in Parliament for the fourth consecutive day.
