Kissing Is Not Molestation, Delhi Police Tells Victim

In a shocking response to a complaint from a woman who alleged that a man approached her ‘in broad daylight’ attempted to kiss her, a sub inspector Sanjiv Kumar rejected her application a three times.

Dejected at the law enforcers’ lackadaisical response, where he reportedly says “just trying to kiss a girl is not molestation,” a friend of the victim, Radhika P Singh narrated the entire incident on Facebook ‘fearing the worst’ could happen to her.

Recounting her friend’s horror, Radhika says that the victim was harassed instead of the victim. Even the bystanders told her “u know he is just a guy… Let him go”.

The man named Nikhil demanded for a kiss and came upon her to do so, where the girl screamed and caught hold of him for 40 minutes till the cop showed up.
