JAMMU: A Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) was today booked for his alleged involvement in Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers appointment scam in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.
"The ZEO has been booked in the Mahore Tehsil of the district for his role in the scam that involved the appointment of ReT teachers in the area," a police officer said.
A probe has been initiated into the scam, the officer said, adding that further details could not be divulged.
