NIA Announces Cash Reward of Rs10 Lakh for Lashkar Commander Abu Qasim

NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward of Rs.10 lakh for information leading to the arrest of the Kashmir-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander  Abu Qasim.

In a press release, the NIA said that another LeT terrorist going by the name of Abu Okasha, who is wanted in connection with the recent terror strike in Udhampur, now carries cash reward of Rs.5 lakh on his head.

The NIA said it has found evidence to establish that Okasha had infiltrated into India along with Naved and Noman. It said Abu Qasim had arranged the logistics to execute a Fidayeen attack on BSF personnel.

Naved, a Pakistani terrorist was arrested and Noman was killed during the Udhampur operation.

The NIA has released photographs of Okasha and Qasim.
