NEW DELHI: Hundreds of ex-servicemen, who have been protesting against non-implementation of 'One Rank One Pension" scheme, along with their families and other supporters today carried out a candlelight march to Amar Jawan Jyoti in honour of 1965 war martyrs.

The veterans have boycotted all official functions being organised to celebrate the 1965 war and the march is their way of saluting the martyrs.

Even though it was made clear that no "OROP' related protest items would be displayed, some could be seen wearing caps with 'OROP' written on them.

The march started from the protest site, Jantar Mantar.Common citizens along with the families of the veterans and serving officers took part in the rally.
