Ceasefire Violation: JK Deputy CM to Visit RS Pura Sector

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Friday will be visiting the RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir, where Pakistan Rangers indulged in unprovoked firing and heavy mortar shelling earlier today.

Three civilians were killed and eight others were injured after Pakistani troops violated the cease-fire arrangement along the Line of Control (LoC) again.

At the time of the filing of this report mortar shelling from the Pakistan side was still on and the Border Security Force (BSF) were retaliating accordingly.

The injured have been admitted to hospital and are receiving medical aid.
