BAGPATH: A 17-year-old girl, who was kidnapped from Lampees area here, was allegedly gangraped by two youths in Chandigarh.
The victim was kidnapped by one Sonu, 22, along with his accomplice Monu, 21, on August 17, who took her to Chandigarh, where she was gang-raped, police said today. The girl somehow managed to escape and reach her village on Thursday where she narrated the incident to her family members, they said.
Medical examination of the victim has been conducted and her statement would be recorded in the court today, police said.
