ITARSI: At least 15 passengers werekilled and 25 others injured today when the bus in which theywere travelling fell into a river from a bridge in Hoshangabaddistrict of Madhya Pradesh.
The mishap took place this morning when the private buswas on its way to Parasia from Indore, Sohagpur Police Stationin-charge, Siddharth Singh told PTI. The bus was crossing a river bridge near Longabanjarivillage about 7 kms away from Sohagpur when the incidenthappened.
Rescue operations were underway and so far 15 bodies havebeen recovered, he said, adding the number of casualties mayfurther increase. The deceased have not been identified yet.
