MUZAFFARNAGAR: A farmer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree over some family dispute at Baseda village, police said today.
The body of Kunwerpal (45), who was missing since December11, was found hanging from a tree in his field yesterday, theysaid. It appears he was under stress due to some family dispute. It may have driven him to take the extreme step, police said.
In another incident, a 20-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poison at her home in Almaspur village yesterday. It was immediately not clear as to what led her to committing suicide.
