Neilangunuo Sanchu Bags 8th Angels Meha Model Hunt-2015

The 23-year-old teacher of 5.6 ft height trounced eight other contestants at the Bamboo Hall Kisama last night.

KOHIMA: Neilangunuo Sanchu has won the 8th Angels Meha Model Hunt-2015, Nagaland.

The 23-year-old teacher of 5.6 ft height trounced eight other contestants at the Bamboo Hall Kisama last night.

In her response to the common question on neglect and repression of women in the country, Sanchu asserted on taking "bolder steps for women empowerment and on gender equality."

Azho Kalpana bagged the first runners-up, while Alen Phom came third.

The event was managed by Get Gorgeous Society, Nagaland and supported by Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union.

Besides cash awards, the three winners have got direct entry into the 13th Mega Miss North East pageant scheduled to be held in Guwahati in January, 2016.

They would also walk a ramp with top models in the Fashion Carnival, a two-day mega event in Guwahati.
