Government Schools Found Locked in Muzaffarnagar During Surprise Inspection

Two government primary schools were found locked and 36 teachers absent from their duty at schools during a suprise inspection.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Two government primary schools were found locked and 36 teachers absent from their duty at different schools here during a suprise inspection by an education department official.

One school in Khudda village and another in Mehraipur village were found locked during the inspection conducted yesterday by Basic Shiksha Adhikari S K Singh.

Departmental action has been taken against the 36 teachers who were absent and their one-day salary will be deducted, said the officer.
