KATIHAR: A couple was stabbed to death and their son injured allegedly by close relatives in a locality in Katihar district of Bihar, a police officer said today.
The incident took place in Dhoom Tola last night when the kins from his first wife's family visited the house of 45 year-old Khedan Das and stabbed him and his second wife Solita Devi (34) to death and injured their 12 year-old son Deepak Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Chandrika Prasad Singh said.
The injured boy was admitted to a Sub-Divisional Hospital at Barsoi, he said.
A case has been lodged in this connection and a probe was on to find out the motive behind the double murder, Singh said.
