The Syria-based terror group, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) started spreading not only in territory but also made their presence felt across the world. The social media played a major role in spreading their doctrine and even recruiting people for their terror activities. Last year, after the beheading of US Journalist, James Foley, the entire world woke up to a dreaded jihadist group. They have grown stronger this year compared to the last.
