NEW DELHI: NCP today said that BJP under Narendra Modi has not only been defeated but vanquished in the Delhi Assembly polls as the AAP victory was basically a tornado of protest.
Party leader D P Tripathi also said that Congress, which failed to open its account in the election, should realise its responsibility as the main opposition in the country.
He said the Delhi verdict also showed that perhaps for the first time a newly elected central government and the Prime Minister lost credibility and support in a short span of nine months.
