INDORE: A private bus with about 60 passengers plunged into a gorge near Machaliya Ghat in Indore on Monday,killing over 10 passengers.
The accident took place at around 9.15 pm when the bus was on the way from Indore to Galiakot in Rajasthan.
The passengers included women and children.
Over 10 passengers are feared dead in the accident while more than two dozens are injured and are being taken to the nearest hospitals.
"Over 30 policemen have been pressed into rescue operations with 12 search lights and efforts are being made to save as many lives as possible," SP Dhar Rajesh Hingalkar said.
