NEW DELHI: The At-Home hosted by Delhi Police Commissioner(CP) B S Bassi brought together friends-turned-political adversaries Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi together under one roof. Kejriwal and Bedi may have fought a bitter electoral battle but the two leaders on Tuesday exchanged pleasantries and engaged in a brief conversation at the function. Bedi was seated next to Chief Minister Kejriwal after she was warmly greeted by the AAP leader.
According to Bedi, she enquired about his health and asked him to take good care. The reception was attended by President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Kejriwal was the star attraction at the event and people were heard requesting Kejriwal that they be allowed to pose with him.
