PM Modi Calls NDA Meeting to Strategise Ahead of Monsoon Session

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened a meeting of all NDA partners tomorrow, a day ahead of Monsoon Session of Parliament.

The meeting will discuss the strategy for the session as opposition parties have closed their ranks against government on various issues including Vyapam scam, Lalit Modi controversy and the Socio Economic and Caste Census.

The Prime Minister would also be meeting 21 delegates of Central Trade Unions today ahead of the 46th Indian Labour Conference (ILC).

He would be meeting with the delegates will be significant in view of the ongoing protests by trade unions against the certain proposed amendments that are part of the BJP-led NDA Government's labour reforms for improving ease of doing business.
