NEW DELHI: The Monsoon Session of the Parliament, which is to begin today, is expected to be stormy affair with the opposition set to take on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government over the Lalit Modi row and the Vyapam scam.
HRD Minister Smriti Irani is also expected to be in the spotlight due to a controversy over her educational qualifications.
Yesterday, an all party meeting was called by the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to ensure smooth proceedings of both the Houses.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to all the parties to utilize Parliament time for discussing issues concerning people and said that the government is willing to take all positive suggestions from opposition parties.
