NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which was asked to hold afresh the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT)by the Supreme Court, is likely to issue a notification in this regard in a few days’ time.
The apex court had on Monday directed the CBSE to conduct a fresh test within four weeks. While hearing a bunch of petitions, alleging large-scale irregularities in the test conducted on May 3, the apex court had ordered a re-test.
During the arguments, the CBSE officials maintained that they needed at least four months to conduct the test again. According to sources, the CBSE was preparing itself to hold a fresh test in a short span of time.
