India Lodges Protest over Chinese Investments in PoK

NEW DELHI:India has lodged a protest with China over Beijing’s proposed investment in infrastructure, including energy and transport links, in disputed Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as part of the $46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar revealed on the eve of the Prime Minister’s long-awaited visit to the middle kingdom.
