Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing an Indian community reception where about 1,500 members are present.

Live Excerpts from PM Narendra Modi's address:

- During the time of crisis, India does not see the colour of the passports.

- You have equal rights over India as me.

-  Addressing the audience, Modi asks them to keep learning and whatever necessary for India's development.

- India has talent and there is a need to innovation and advanced technology to take the country ahead.

- We saved Pakistani nationals during Yeman crisis and Pakistan did the same for Indian nationals, Modi says while stressing about how humanity will bind the neighbouring countries together.


- Nepal PM had said publicly that I got to know about the earthquake through Modi's Tweet.

- The world is talking about the revival of SAARC countries. We are trying to join all these countries through humanity.

- If I am dumping garbage indiscriminately, then I am damaging my country. We are trying to instill this feeling/attitude in the people of the country.

- When I became the PM, people did not ask what is Modi doing, instead people said people are going to office on time.

- Even after so many years, why do the women of the country  still do not have access to a toilet? We want to change centuries old bad habits, but that will be difficult, but not impossible.

- We have emerged as the fastest growing economy of the world in the last one year.

- Every poor family should get a house to stay and basic amenities.

- There is just one solution to all our problems and that is development.

- Addressing the audience, Modi says that they are capable of seeing things from outside the country that many countrymen can not see. "You are aware of every moment," Modi said.

- There is a change in the overall attitude of Non-Residential-Indians towards their country.

- Even though scientists earn more abroad, they are now ready to come back to India to do something for the country.

- Modi urges the Indian community of South Korea to join hands for India's development.

- Don't you want to replicate the technological development that took place in South Korea

-  21st Century is Asia's century.

- Mindset of public is changing. People were talking about BRICS, but also said India is going down. But in the last one year, people have realised that without India, BRICS is not complete.
