NEW DELHI: In riposte to Islamabad’s claim that India was disrupting functions of prominent Pakistani personalities, Delhi on Tuesday hit back saying the country was not qualified to “lecture” anyone on tolerance.

The Pakistan Foreign Ministry had expressed concern about efforts to disrupt functions of singer Ghulam Ali and former Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri in Mumbai.

Though India’s request for a meeting of the National Security Advisors in New York was rebuffed, New Delhi has expressed interest in a meeting of the top security czars with Pakistan, but only after recognition that terrorism — and not Kashmir —was at the core of their relationship.
