LUCKNOW: Four persons were today killed and two others injured when a jeep they were traveling in was hit by a passenger train at an unmanned crossing in Mainpuri district, a police spokesman said here.
The incident occurred this morning when the jeep carrying the passengers was hit by the passenger train from Farukkhabad to Sikohabad at an unmanned crossing in Bhogaon area, he said.
The spokesman said that efforts were being made to identify the victims and the injured have been admitted to a hospital.
