Five-year-old Girl Gang-raped in Rajasthan

In a horrific incident, a five-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by some persons at Kalyan circle near Railway station here, police said today.

SIKAR: In a horrific incident, a five-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by some persons at Kalyan circle near Railway station here, police said today.

The victim was last night sleeping with her mother and siblings on roadside when the accused took her away and gang-raped her, they said.

Today morning when the girl's mother, who sells glassware and had come here from Udaipurwati recently, could not find her, she alerted other people sleeping on the pavement, they said.

Later, someone found the wounded girl in a heap of garbage, they said.

She was rushed to a local government hospital where her medical was done. Later, she was referred to Jaipur's main children hospital, they said.

On the complaint of girl's mother, two suspected men - Ram Singh and Babulal - were rounded up by police, they said.

An FIR was lodged under section 376 (rape) of the IPC with  Mahila Thana police, they said, adding that investigation is on in the matter.
